Our Municipal Facility Our new 8.25 million dollar St. Ignace Municipal Marina has a 136-slip capacity, but can hold up to 140 boats. Slips range from 30 to 100 feet. We can accommodate very large vessels, even mega yachts up to 150' in length. We offer 30 & 50 AMP Electrical and 200 AMP for large slips. We are protected by a large expansive new breakwall that was built to encompass the marina. Our parking lot is also very large and offers ample room for travelers. This Upper Michigan Marina replaced a much smaller one that had a modest 20-slip capacity.
We offer a myriad of amenities and services along with modern docking facilities.
The water is deep in Moran Bay, a relief for new visitors as well as sailboat owners. Even within the marina, you can expect the depths to reach at least 18 feet.

St. Ignace Wawatam Lighthouse The new St. Ignace Lighthouse is noted on newer navigational charts. It was named Wawatam and was erected on June 6th, 2006 at the end of the old Railroad Dock. The lighthouse is white with red accents and stands 52' in height. The beacon defines the harbor and marks the entrance to the marina. It also services as an aid to navigation all year round and is a nice addition to the existing Upper Michigan Lighthouses.
Our marina staff is very hospitable and the marina tries to accommodate all cruise-ins and assist in our boaters needs. If you have any questions, please feel free to call, email or visit our Request Information page.
